Best friends name : Melissa-Jane Botha

Background on our friendship :

Melissa is originally from Durban ,and moved to Cape Town in 2009   i never knew meliss when she first moved to Cape Town , she went to Fairmont High School but in 2010 she started grade 11 and I was class Captain , In High School I was even weirder than what I am now and I walked up to her and introduced myself , she looked at me with the weirdest face , but I insisted for her to be my friend and I introduced her to all my other friends and told her to sit with us at breaks . The very first day I met Melissa I was dating a guy (for only two weeks at the time.) and told her all about him and how much I loved him!

We have great laughs about it now , because that is the first memory we have as being friends , Melissa had her wisdoms removed in the same year and I missed her in class , I asked her for her address and told my mom I needed to visit her , I bought her a Cactus ,baby food and fling chips . This was the first time I met her family, and the first time I told her that I thought her family looks like the twilight characters and they were all going to kill me J

I started spending weekends by her and we started going to movies almost every Friday night , we had that weirdness that just clicked . We had arguments over silly things when you look back at it ,but its only made our friendship stronger . Melissa is known as the “white cousin” in my family and im a daughter to her mom and dad.

We have been best friends for 5 years now , and continue to see each other regualary even though we are busy and not studying at the same institutions.

                                        

Activities me and Mel like doing:

Ø  dancing and singing and making videos of it

Ø  baking!!! Cakes , cupckaes .muffins , brownies ,cake pops ,crunchies

Ø  we both like reading

Ø  going to the beach

Ø  going for coffee

Ø  movies!!!!
